Healthy Food for Happy Childhood
Healthy food is an important aspect of children’s development. My menu aligns with my wellness commitment to Healthy Apple program and I follow the guidelines of USDA child care food program. By allowing kids to eat family-style home-cooked vegetarian meals and to serve themselves, children learn about making healthy choices and the connection between food and community.
I provide children with breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks per day. If a child has a particular dietary need or allergy, please let me know in advance. I do my best to accommodate all children. However, I might be unable to meet certain requests due to environmental conditions (e.g. my facility is nut-friendly ).
